Dining Dollars and Lion Bucks

Dining Dollars

As a resident student, you’ll choose a meal plan as part of your housing option–depending on which plan you select, you’ll have a certain amount of Dining Dollars to spend, ranging from $50-$250.

Your Dining Dollars can be spent on meals, snacks, and drinks in Mayes Dining Hall, the Lion’s Den in Billingsly Student Center and our University Java coffee shop in the library.

Your Dining Dollars work as an extra amount of credit to spend outside of your pre-arranged meal plan, and whatever you don’t spend in one semester will be carried over to the next!

Lion Bucks

All students can deposit and use Lion Bucks, so even if you decide to move off campus, you can still use this handy credit feature on your Lion Card.

You can add money to your Lion Card at any time in Card Services or through LioNet to convert your money to Lion Bucks. You can use Lion Bucks to purchase goods from vending machines, the bookstore, and other non-meal locations on campus.

You will get a 10% discount when using Lion Bucks at any of our food service locations. Unused Lion Bucks will carry over each semester, and whatever you don’t use by your graduation date will be refunded to you!
